The web-based database serves as a powerful tool, allowing users to search for medications and their formulations. Clicking on a hyperlinked product name reveals more detailed information, including any identified excipients of concern, sourced directly from the manufacturer’s Summary of Product Characteristics. This ensures the information is both authentic and reliable.
Epilepsy Meds App
The Epilepsy Meds App is an anti-seizure medication finder available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play. This intuitive app enhances the user experience with additional search functionalities and filters not present on the web version.
Medical professionals can swiftly search the currently licensed anti-seizure medications by formulation, drug safety category, and excipients of concern. The app also includes options to filter search results by formulation, product name, free status of alcohol/sugar/preservative/carbohydrate, and whether the product is licensed for use with a feeding tube.
Furthermore, the app provides links to Summary of Product Characteristics (SPCs), product photos, medicine strengths, and other key characteristics to help users quickly narrow down product choices.
The Epilepsy Meds platform is emerging as a vital resource for HCPs in the field of epilepsy treatment.
